We’ve hit another milestone somewhat later than some and earlier than others. Kat had her ears pierced today. She was very brave and gave the merest of and “ouch” during the two at once piercing. Very smart that is just in case they freak, both ears are done. My little girl isn’t so little.
Craft on!

Way to go Kat! I’ll have to show Emily how brave you were because she wants hers done too.

So cute, trying to act grownup while hurting.
Ummmm…some adults have to get their ears done that way too.

She does look a little nervous in that picture, though! I thought she was very brave today! Hugs to the kids….

Oh Kat you’re so brave! All the pretty little earrings you’ll be able to wear. Ear piercing is definitely a step towards growing up.

Yeah for Kat! Miss Peanut has started asking when she will get hers done. I had mine done the 1st day of 3rd grade, so I think we’ll carry on the tradition with her as well.

Congrats Kat! She’s a big girl now! I remember getting my ears pierced at Ohrbach’s in Paramus.

Look at her go! Yay for the big girl! :o)
btw, I’d like to thank the genius who came up with the ‘both at the same time’ idea when piercing the ears of small children. When I had Dobby’s ears done in 1990 (she was a year old at the time) they hadn’t thought of it yet. Fun times.
